Ticket prices for minibuses of "Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme" approved

On December 20 the Commission for Licensing of Commercial Passenger Transportation Services of Riga City Council approved the prices of tickets for "Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme", which will be valid from January 1 till February 28, 2014. It is set that the price of one trip paid by e-ticket will be EUR 0.70 euro, but if the ticket is bought from driver, a trip will cost EUR 1.

It is also provided that minibus tickets, which have been bought earlier for EUR 0.70, will be also valid in buses, trolleybuses and trams of "Rīgas satiksme". The company calls on passengers to follow, which tickets are loaded into their e-tickets and "Riga resident’s card", because if the tickets for EUR 0.60 loaded into an e-ticket or a Riga resident’s card are over, but there are still minibus tickets for 0.70 euro, the latter ones will be accepted in trams, trolleybuses and buses and passengers shall take into account that the difference in ticket prices will not be returned.

"Rīgas satiksme" reminds that starting from January 1, 2014, the price of one trip in "Rīgas satiksme" public transport will be EUR 0.60, but if a single ticket bought from driver, the trip will cost EUR 1.20. These tickets will not be valid in minibuses of "Rīgas mikroautobusu satiksme".
